Hey Girls! Come try out for the girls wrestling team on Monday, Nov 16^th, but only if you’re ready to drop them girls like a sack a potatoes!

All fastpitch girls must turn in their fundraising packet by Monday Nov 9th. Please hand it to the captains or put it in coach Nespers box.

MEETINGS

Girls’ Basketball starts in two weeks. Stop by to pick up a schedule and paperwork in Room. 416 & see Coach Bender.

GENERAL

Did you do something interesting last summer?  If you have any pictures of last summer’s doings that you’d like to see in the yearbook, please contact Mr. Horlick in rm. 104.  The yearbook staff would really like to include these, if we can.  Also, Seniors who want to submit their own portraits for the yearbook must get them in by Friday, Nov. 13^th.

The deadline to register your team for the Grad Night dodgeball tournament is today.  There will be parents available TODAY during lunch to take your registration forms and answer questions.  The tournament is next Tuesday and remember there is no school the next day.

Anyone who received and filled out a white slip for the Veterans Day assembly, please bring to the attendance office by today.

Patriotic volunteers are needed to be in the Auburn Veterans Day parade. Volunteers will be holding banners bearing a picture and name of one of fallen soldiers. We will be holding these banners for the Gold Star Mothers Association. This is a powerful experience and a great way to honor our fallen soldiers and to also get community service hours. Sign up to help in the activities office. It’s this Saturday with staging time @ 9:30 a.m. so plan to come and volunteer!

Do you think that there is racism at Auburn? We will be celebrating mix it up day on Tuesday, Nov 17^th. Sit with new people, answer some questions and a FCCLA leader will give you a free treat.

CAREER NEWS

Interested in having the ability to create your own major at a college listed every year in a well-known journal titled: “The Colleges that Change Lives”?  If so then you will want to speak with the rep. from The Evergreen State College who will be here today.  The reps from Cornish College for the Arts, Gonzaga, Central Washington University and Pacific University in Oregon will visit next week.  Sign up now in the Career Center to meet with these representatives.
