We have an orchard and an organic garden immediately adjacent to Auburn High School and Washington Elementary School.
Students from the high school Horticulture class helped design and plant; Wood Technology students helped build the raised planting beds.
Students from the elementary school have formed an after-school Garden Club focused on math and science.
Produce from the garden is used in our school cafeterias and for the after-school snack and summer meal programs.
Our school garden endeavors to connect the circle between the earth, plants and organisms, the food we cook and eat and the healthy lives we can live.
