School Breakfast and Lunch Information
Auburn School District School Breakfast and Lunch Programs:
Our Child Nutrition Programs serve more than 3,000 breakfasts and 6,000 lunches each day to students of the Auburn School District. Menus are planned to meet the nutritional goals of the USDA and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Each school has their own kitchen and staff who prepare meals at the site. The cafeteria at each school is treated as a classroom of learning about food and nutrition. Our website is an excellent resource to learn about our program(s) and nutrition. We encourage you to contact us with questions and suggestions via e-mail at: ChildNutrition@auburn.wednet.edu.

Breakfasts and lunches may be pre-purchased in any amount. Computers are used in our schools to maintain balances for individual student accounts--we encourage you to pre-pay into the account (this ensures money for meals and faster moving lines of service). Checks may be made fro any amount and are given to the kitchen--please include each student's PIN number, the student's name, and, it is helpful to have the grade and/or teacher's name on the check. For your convenience (and a small fee), pre-payments can be made over the Internet at www.mymealtime.com.
Auburn High School, Auburn Mountainview High School and Auburn Riverside High School also participate in the USDA School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. Each high school has a professional chef who is also a certified teacher. As instructors, these chefs teach culinary arts to students who are interested in preparing for a career in the food service industry or that are interested in learning more about food and nutrition.
