MEETINGS

Track and Field Meeting:  There will a brief meeting and sign-ups for girls and boys who wish to turn out for the track and field team.  Meet after school in the Commons on Wednesday, February 4th.  If you can’t attend, please see Coach Isham in room #314 or Coach Burt in the office.   There are no cuts and everyone competes.

If  you missed the girls tennis meeting yesterday, stop by Ms. Wisness’s room, 235, and pick up an information packet!  Join the fun!

Attention all seniors, make sure to reserve space for your very own senior ad in the 2014/2015 yearbook. This is a once in a life time opportunity to have a quarter, half or full page dedicated to yourself. Visit Mr. Kaup in room 101 before or after school to receive more information. The deadline to purchase and submit your ad is March 6th.

GENERAL

It's the end of an era...... Our last official basketball game in the current AHS gym will be played next Tuesday, February 3rd at 7:00 PM against Bonney Lake. This is your LAST CHANCE to experience the tradition of Auburn Basketball in our historic gym. Let’s fill the gym to capacity and cheer on our mighty Trojans.  It will be a DOUBLE STAMP NIGHT for spirit points.

On behalf of our schools WE Day project, starting Friday January 30th –Thursday February 5th we will be collecting change to create an even greater change in Kenya and help build a well to supply a village  with pure, drinkable water. So that means that “US”, the students, have the power to make that change and also have the power to chose whatever kind of music we want throughout all three lunches! Ranging from “Today’s Top Hits” all the way to some good old classic Rock music! The only catch is that ANY genre can win, just as long as YOU provide the most change! May the best genre win! The genres include 90’s rap, Country, Reggae, Classic rock, and Today’s top hits.

Starting today, you can apply to be a Camp Auburn counselor for our week in June. Come by the activities office to pick up an application. This opportunity is open to 10th through 12th graders. You will have until February 27th to turn in your application.

Did you wear your Seahawks gear today? At the end of each lunch we will be taking a group picture today.
