| The landscaping units lead students into careers of landscape design, construction and management. Students learn the elements and principles of design in the classroom and then extend their knowledge into the practical field. Students enter competitions at the Puyallup Fair in landscape design and construction, they design, plant, and maintain a variety of areas around the community to include City Park, the AHS Japanese Garden, Nursing Homes and many volunteer projects which benefit both the organization and the students. |
