| An important component of this class is leadership development. Two possibilities exist. First, there is the formal leadership organization, NFFAO, which includes officer training, fair participation, competitions and follows state and national guidelines. The second leadership opportunity is on the classroom level. Students must complete a wide-variety of leadership activities related to the curriculum. Included are participatiopn in service projects , attending field trips, and visiting horticulture sites and colleges or universities. |
