Welcome to the Auburn High School Speech and Debate homepage. Auburn’s debate program is one of the most successful and respected in the country. Debate offers something for all types of students. It allows you to travel to places such as New Orleans and Chicago; it allows you to meet people from all over the country with the same interests as you. There is a wide variety of events to compete in, ranging from Cross-Examination debate to Humorous Interpretation. Joining debate will help you conquer your fear of public speaking in addition to improving your research and essay-writing skills. At the very least, debate is a very fun and fulfilling experience.
