Text Box: This is the time of year when the upper grades are sending out progress reports to the families to let them know how their student is doing in school this trimester. In kindergarten, the measure is a bit different but I am planning on sending you some information that will let you know where your child is and where your child needs some support. I am also going to include a weekly schedule so you can pick a time to come in an observe your student as work is being done by the class.
You will see that Mondays-Thursdays are our days for center work—-Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, etc. Fridays are less ‘structured’ and give opportunities all class instruction and projects ( you are welcome then, too but our routine is a bit different).
Feel free to email me for a time to observe or to have a conference to discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

Text Box: We still need your help with items for the food drive! Don’t feel you have to go out and buy a bag of groceries...it’s as simple as going through your pantry and seeing what you’ve already purchased and will probably never use.
At this point one of the first grade classes has taken the lead with 90 items...we have 31 items from both classes.
