Text Box: Last, but not least, thank you for coming today to your student’s DARE graduation. It really means a lot to the Text Box: The fifth grade team and students cannot thank parents enough. Not only did several of our parents spend two hours at a special training, but then they also took their entire day to allow our fifth graders the amazing experience of JA Biztown. As our parents observed, our fifth graders could NOT have Text Box: had the real life experience without them; so, thank you, thank you!!
Next, thank you for attending the camp information meeting last night at the high school. Hopefully all of your questions regarding camp were answered. If not, please contact one of the fifth grade team.
Text Box: A WASLing We Will Go…
Text Box: For two weeks following break, fifth graders will be taking the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). You can help by: making sure that your student has had Text Box: plenty of sleep the night before and making sure that they are at school everyday, on time.
Every student will be treated to a free breakfast each day of testing. The fifth grade Text Box: team is allowing gum to be chewed while taking the WASL; students will need to provide their own.
So, rest and relax over the break; come back READY TO WASL!
