Kindergarten Registration

· Now is the time register for the 2008-2009 school year.  If your child will be five before August 31, please stop by and pick up a registration packet.  In order to complete the process  you will need a certified copy of their birth certificate and current immunization dates.  We will not be offering full day Kindergarten here, however, if you are interested we have information available for you.

 

Puyallup Spring Fling Fair

· Free student tickets will be coming home tomorrow, Friday, April 18 for you to use this weekend.

 

Take your Child to Work Day/Prior Approval Needed

· The nation-wide designated day, Thursday, April 24, is “Take Your Child to Work” for parents to take their child to work and let them experience what their parents do for a living.  The staff at Arthur Jacobsen supports your decision to have your child attend work with you, under the following guidelines which have merit for approval and learning.

1. Students who are nine years old of age or older will be excused for the day. (Only 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students)

2. All absences will require a note of pre-approval, signed by the parents.   Please return the pre-authorization letter being sent home by your child’s teacher, due April 23 (a day before the event)

3. Students must complete the assigned written

      activity and any missed class work must be

      made up.

4. With appropriate pre-authorized, the absence will be considered a field trip and will not affect perfect attendance.

 

AJ 1st Talent Show “Rising Stars”

· Auditions will begin April 28.  Please see the PTSA flier for information or call Wendi Hudspeth, PTSA Talent Show Chairperson,  253-630-2441.  Attached is information needed to sign your child up for the try out for the Talent Show.
