Ms. Stinson’s News:

           I can’t believe it is spring, but we are still getting snow!  What crazy weather we have been having.  I hope spring break is much better for everyone.

           WASL testing will begin right after spring break.  3rd grade students will complete two sessions of reading and three sessions of math.  We have been practicing the type of questions the students will see on the WASL.  Your child will be bringing home two packets tomorrow of practice WASL tests we have completed in class.  These, and other helpful WASL materials, can be found on the OSPI website at http://www.k12.wa.us/assessment/WASL/Grades3-8.aspx

During the WASL, please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and healthy food.

           As we enter the final stretch of the school year, many students are lacking the supplies they need.  Please make sure your child has pencils, notebook paper, glue or glue sticks, crayons or colored pencils, and a good eraser.  Also, our class needs boxes of tissue.
