We are on the AM assembly schedule today.
Purchase your homecoming ticket through the bookkeeper before or after school, or at lunch. Guest passes are available through the Activities Office in room 119.
Homecoming is almost here - Do you need a corsage or boutonnière for that special someone? Save yourself a trip and some money by placing an order through the Lion Floral Shop during either lunch in room 620.
Spirit week is this week. It’s time to compete against other classes and show them who is the most spirited. Absolutely no hats, head coverings, or bandanas are allowed, even if it matches with the Spirit Day theme. Monday is Neon Day, Tuesday is Steve Urkle Day, Wednesday is Superhero Day, and Thursday is Color Wars. Join the fun and competition and dress up.
If you are a sophomore or older and your GPA is at least 3.4, you are eligible to become a member of National Honor Society. Those interested in participating should meet in room 221 at 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8.
Calling all students interested in participating in Robotics First Competition. Go on line, type in Robotics First, then come to a meeting today, October 6 right after school in room 621, that's right, October 6th after school.
Open gym and open mats for all AMHS students begins October 14.
Auditions for the “Lip Sync Idol” will be Tuesday October 14, at AMHS in room 618 from 3-6 p.m. Costumes and music must be ready at this time. Any group that enters but does not qualify for the actual show will receive complimentary tickets for the show. Rehearsals will take place on Wednesday and Thursday October 15 and 16 at AMHS, with the show taking place on Friday October 17. This should be a truly fun filled event for all and an opportunity to show your school spirit.
