STA TRAVEL
VOLUNTEER ABROAD
Call it volunteerism. Call it voluntourism. STA calls it hybrid because it's a mix of volunteering and traveling. You spend part of your program doing each. It's a unique way to travel because you experience a foreign culture as a visitor and as a local.
Volunteer 15 hours a week teaching English to your host family in exchange for free room and board.
