Full year course
PREREQUISITE: Interest in choral music and willingness to learn and perform.
Students will, in daily rehearsal, learn music fundamentals, vocal production, choral style techniques and concepts. They will learn to follow verbal directions and conducting gestures. Students will grasp the concepts of self-worth, self-discipline and the individual’s contribution to the group. Attendance of daily rehearsal, written and vocal performance tests, participation in assigned and graded concerts and contests are part of the assigned grade.  Concert choir recommended to students interested in auditioning for select choirs in the early spring
