Public Hearing to Gather Input Regarding
Expending Initiative 728 Funds

The Auburn School Board will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 22, to gather input regarding the plan for expending Initiative 728 during the 2002-2003 fiscal year.  A copy of the plan will be furnished to any interested community member at the office of the superintendent at 915 Fourth Street Northeast, Auburn.

The voter-approved initiative includes guidelines for the various ways the funds may be used, such as reducing class sizes.  Local school boards must determine which specific student achievement activities to fund.
