Auburn School District to Host State Competition for
Washington Vocational Sports Medicine

Auburn School District will be hosting 315 students in the Washington Vocational Sports Medicine Associations state competition at Auburn Riverside High School on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27.  The event will start at 3:30 p.m. on Friday in the Auburn Riverside Theater (ART).  James Ogelsby, assistant athletic trainer for the Seattle Seahawks, will be the keynote speaker on Friday at 3:40 p.m.  During the two-day event, students will compete in various tests and oral exams on sports medicine knowledge and skills.  Gary Clinton is the Auburn Riverside High School sports medicine teacher and Steve Calhoun is the Auburn High School sports medicine teacher.
