ARHS Women's Advanced Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble
Compete at Heritage Choral Festival

The Auburn Riverside High School Women’s Advanced Choir and the Vocal Jazz Ensemble had award-winning performances at the Heritage Choral Festival held on Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5, in Palo Alto, California.  The Women’s Advanced Choir won their division and of the 30 choirs competing was one of four choirs invited to compete next year in the national “Festival of Gold” competition to be held in New York.  The Vocal Jazz Ensemble placed fourth in their division and also received a Gold Level Award.  The Gold Level Award is given to groups who perform at the 90-100% level of national adjudication standards.  Linda Fahlgren is the ARHS choral instructor.
