For several months, an Auburn Riverside High School team of Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) students has been promoting a "What Civility Means to You" project in their school community and the community-at-large. The project is based on Auburn School District’s Civility Week which promotes themes such as courtesy, respect, community service, honoring civil servants and military personnel, and civic responsibility. The DECA promotion team raised the funds to have a multi-color message, "What Civility Means to You," placed on a large billboard on A Street S.E. The DECA promotion team consists of: Sabrina Coady; Allison Angulo; and Muffin Roberts. Doug Aubert is the ARHS DECA advisor.
