ARHS Natural Resources Teams Compete at
Future Farmers of American Natural Resources Contest

The state Future Farmers of America (FFA) Natural Resources Contest was held Friday, March 28 at Padilla Bay.  A total of 18 teams participated, including two from Auburn Riverside High School.  Team members were Jennifer Turner, Ben Thayer, Steven Toy, Eric Darling, James Bolden, Carli McCrabb, and Shawn McFarland.  They were tested on their knowledge of Aquatics, Wildlife, Forestry, and Soils, and had to give an oral presentation.  Out of the 18 teams, Auburn Riverside placed eighth.  Jackie Ferry is the ARHS natural resources teacher.
