Auburn School Board to Recognize
West Auburn Junior Cassandra Harwick

 

On Monday, April 28, the Auburn School District board of directors will recognize Cassandra Harwick, West Auburn High School junior, for her fine educational efforts.  At West Auburn, Cassandra participates in the Diversified Occupations course and her instructor, Colleen Rayburn, describes her as “the student that every teacher wants to teach for she truly values what she is learning.  She has nearly perfect attendance, displays a willing attitude, and puts exceptional effort in to all class assignments.”  Cassandra is self-directed and conscientious.  She has a good understanding of class concepts and a willingness to put extra effort in to her projects.  Cassandra is very dependable, reliable, and follows up on projects and completes tasks within the given time frame.  She has recently taken on management responsibilities in the advanced Diversified Occupations program.  She is conscientious about her responsibilities, a class leader, and is very creative.  She is very cooperative and is willing to participate in all class activities.  She enjoys camping and horses.  Cassandra plans on pursuing a career in occupational therapy.
