AHS Senior Recently Selected to Receive Scholarship
Scholastic Writing Awards 2003

Auburn High School senior, Tanner Vea, has recently been selected to receive a $3,500 scholarship in the Portfolio Category of the Scholastic Writing Awards 2003.  Tanner submitted a portfolio containing four short stories and two poems that he had written.

The Scholastic Writing Awards will be given at a national awards ceremony on Saturday, June 14, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.
