Auburn School District Selected as this Year's Recipient of
Association of King County Organization's Heritage Education Award
 

Auburn School District has been selected as the recipient of this year’s Association of King County Organization’s Heritage Education Award (AKCHO) for its partnership and support of the White River Valley Museum in Auburn. Auburn School District and the museum curator of education, Karen Haas, will be honored at the AKCHO Annual Awards which will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at the Museum of History and Industry. Patricia Cosgrove, director of the White River Valley Museum, submitted the nomination of Auburn School District and Ms. Haas in recognition of the school program, “Making Generations of Museum Lovers.”
