Auburn Rotary Club Selects Outstanding Future Leader
as Student of the Month for April
On April 18, Bryan Leonard, a senior at Auburn High School, was honored as the Auburn Rotary’s student of the month for April. He attended the recognition luncheon with Paul Harvey, Auburn High School Principal, and his parents, Kenneth and Marcia Leonard.
Bryan is a young man of incredible talent and character. His academic work is always innovative and creative. He has been the driving force behind many successful leadership events and projects.
He also has a remarkable gift of patience as a high school student. He is able to work with administrators of Auburn High School, understanding the processes people and systems need to undergo in order to function correctly. He displays outstanding assertiveness and negotiation skills. Bryan’s high level of responsibility and commitment allow him to succeed in virtually every endeavor he undertakes.
Last year Bryan served as Junior Class President. This year he works as a Teaching Assistant for Ms. Benedict, an Auburn High School Leadership Teacher. He is a member of the speech and debate team. He also plays racquetball and spends many hours video editing and listening to music.
According to Ms. Benedict, “Bryan’s blend of academic excellence and relational giftedness make him an exceptional person who has great leadership potential.”
