Lea Hill Elementary School Teacher Named
STAR 101.5 "Teacher of the Week"

Lea Hill Elementary School teacher Joanne Spear will be named STAR 101.5’s “Teacher of the Week” in a Western Washington contest. Ms. Spear was nominated by her second grade student, Natalie Williams.   

On Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m., STAR 101.5 will make a surprise visit and deliver prizes to Ms. Spear’s Lea Hill Elementary classroom. At the surprise party, Ms. Spear will receive a $100 check, a plaque and a party for the classroom—including goody bags. Natalie Williams will also be recognized in front of her classmates for nominating Ms. Spear.

STAR 101.5’s “Teacher of the Week” is a 12-week program that allows students and parents to recognize deserving educators for their commitment to the quality education of local children.
