KINDERGARTEN

ESSENTIAL LEARNINGS: BENCHMARKS: INTEGRATED CURRICULUM:
The student will demonstrate:
  1. knowledge of check out procedures.
  2. personal responsibility for materials and understanding of appropriate library behaviors.
Students:
  1. can check out and return books appropriately.
  2. follow library rules and procedures.
The librarian and staff communicate both behavioral expectations and the process of caring for, using and returning books to students.

FIRST GRADE

ESSENTIAL LEARNINGS: BENCHMARKS: INTEGRATED CURRICULUM:
The student will demonstrate:
  1. knowledge of check out procedures.
  2. increased personal responsibility for materials and understanding of appropriate library behaviors.
  3. an understanding of physical layout and operations in the library.
Students:
  1. can check out and return books appropriately.
  2. follow library rules and procedures.
  3. identify different areas of the library and their purpose.
The librarian and staff communicate both behavioral expectations and the process of caring for, using and returning books to students.

SECOND GRADE

ESSENTIAL LEARNINGS: BENCHMARKS: INTEGRATED CURRICULUM:
The student will demonstrate:
  1. knowledge of check out procedures.

FOURTH GRADE
