Craig Schumaker brings strong leadership and teamwork skills to the Auburn School Board of Directors.  Mr. Schumaker believes the school board has to anticipate changes in educational requirements as well as future needs such as increased classroom space and up-to-date resources.  "We have to ensure that students, teachers, and staff have the appropriate resources for a quality education."  Mr. Schumaker works for the Federal Aviation Administration, and he currently is an air traffic operations supervisor.  He is a Navy veteran and has retired from the Washington Army National Guard with over 25 years of active and reserve service.  His family has lived in Auburn for over 20 years and he has two sons, who have both attended Auburn schools.
