Auburn School Board Recognizes
Olympic Middle School Eighth Grade Student

On Monday, December 9, the Auburn School District Board of Directors will recognize Olympic Middle School student, Jenelle Bartelt, for being an exceptional eighth grader.  Jenelle is friendly with staff and peers and cares about those around her.  Both academically and in her extracurricular activities, Jenelle goes above and beyond expectations.  An example of this is her journaling in which she always includes photographs to help illustrate her insightful and well-written entries.  Jenelle is involved in drama club and will be in the upcoming play at Olympic.  She also does drama outside of school.  She participates in orchestra, as well, and again demonstrates great skill and dedication.  Although Jenelle is active, she does not let her academics fall short.  She is an exceptional student and person in her school community who serves as a great role model for those around her.
