Washington Second Graders Bring
Cheer to Local Retirement Home

On Monday, December 1, Washington Elementary School second graders in Mrs. de Jong’s class stayed after school voluntarily to make special holiday snow scenes for the residents of a local retirement home.  Community service and the holiday spirit were the motivators for the extracurricular effort by the second graders.
