ARHS Pep Band Performs on KOMO TV

On Monday evening, December 12, the Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) pep band performed on KOMO 4 television station during the post-Monday night football game. The name of the wrap-up show that the students performed on was “After the Game”. The 60-piece pep band played their favorite tunes and enjoyed performing in Fisher Plaza.

When KOMO 4 contacted ARHS band director, Meghan Wagner, she jumped at the chance to give the students an opportunity to perform on live television. “This is a very valuable experience for these students. They have worked hard throughout the football season and this performance was a great way to let some light shine on the ARHS band students.”

In addition to this performance, the band students at ARHS are busy getting ready for basketball games and also their winter concert which will be held on December 14th. The ARHS Wind Ensemble, an audition-only band, will return to Seattle on December 20th to perform at Winterfest in the Seattle Center House.
