ARHS Forensic Team Competes Well
at Winter Classic Speech and Debate Tournament

The Auburn Riverside High School (ARHS) Forensic team competed at the Rogers High School Winter Classic Speech and Debate Tournament on Friday and Saturday, December 9 and 10. The following students earned awards in their events. Some students also earned the opportunity to compete at the state-level competition which will occur this spring:

• Alaina Gordon, Open Humorous Interpretation, Second Place and a state bid
• Joe Lawrence, Open Humorous Interpretation, First Place and a state bid
• Joe Lawrence and Tana Loan, Open Dual Interpretation, Third Place
• Tara Low, Open Expository Speaking, First Place and a state bid
• Jack Peace, Open Expository Speaking, Third place
• Jack Peace, Open Oratory, Finalist
• Meagan Pries, Open Oratory, Finalist
