Auburn School District Students Volunteer
Artistic Talent to Local Businesses

For the third year in a row, Auburn students volunteered to design and decorate the windows of downtown Auburn businesses for the holiday season. Students from all grade levels brought the store windows to life with creative holiday designs. The windows were completed just in time for downtown Auburn’s annual Santa Parade held on December 2.

Prizes were awarded to the top designers. At the high school level, a team from West Auburn High School captured first place, while Auburn Riverside High School took second place. At the middle school level, Mt. Baker Middle School won first place, and Rainier Middle School earned second place. At the elementary school level, three places were awarded to: Dick Scobee (first place); Lea Hill (second place); and Pioneer (third place).
