Scobee Memorial Garden

Scobee Memorial Garden

The Scobee Memorial Garden is a special place. It was created to honor and remember people who were special to the school that have passed away. A plaque in the center of the garden bears their names. A weeping cherry tree spreads its branches over the garden and provides shade to the rhododendrons, azaleas, heather, and other plants that grow in the garden.

The Memorial Garden is tended by students and staff at Dick Scobee Elementary. Some of the plants were planted by the Scobee Garden Club. The Memorial Garden recently received a new covering of bark and a few plants thanks to a generous donation from Auburn Agrishop.
