**** Evergreen Height's ****
**** Emergency Broadcast ****

We would like to use this section of our website as an emergency update page for unpredictable situations that may occur at or around the Evergreen Heights area.  Our first priority will be the safety of your children, but if time permits, we are going to attempt  to post some type of notification to parents as we continue to receive reliable news.  We are hoping that this will help to comfort family and friends and open up phone lines to allow emergency calls to get through.
(Example situations: Earthquakes, Fire, School Lockdowns, Inclement Weather, Etc.)
If parents/ guardians/ grandparents/ etc. choose to pick their children up during some form of emergency, there are procedures that must be followed:
1.  Parents are to report to the Release Post
(This will be by the large dumpsters/cyclone fencing area)
2.  The requesting parent identifies the child they are picking up
3.  Staff member will find the card of that student
4.  Parent/Requesting Adult will fill out a student release form
5.  Staff member completes the bottom portion of the release form and verifies permission of the request
6.  A request for adult's ID will be made
7.  A runner will be sent to the child's assigned class area to request the student
8.  The requested child will be delivered to the Release Post .
The student is matched to the adult and the student's identification card is filed into the out box.
