Welcome to the Evergreen Heights Elementary library page.  We are very proud here at EH to be able to provide teachers, students and parents with lots of fabulous reading and reference materials both old and new.

Our library also contains a beautiful computer lab consisting of 29 Dell computers, two laser printers, an InFocus projection system and two HP Scanjets scanners.  All of our technology is being used for library lab lessons, class projects and even school assemblies.

Book Checkout Policy

Our books can be checked out for two weeks.  Books may be returned early so that new books can be checked out.  Third, fourth and fifth graders are allowed three books at one time.  Second graders are allowed two books at one time and first graders may check out one book only.
***Per teacher's request, more then the limited amount of books may be checked out.  (This would be in the case of research projects, group projects, etc.)

***Parents wishing to check out books from the EH library can be provided with a barcode from Mr. Grab.

***Lost or damaged books must be paid for or replaced with the identical book before  a student can resume full checkout priviledges.

*** Below you will find some wonderful researching sites for kids and parents.  Newspapers, magazines, books, maps, pictures, audio/video, etc. are all available.  I have provided user names and passwords in case they are necessary to enter the sites.
