Hello to all the old and new Timberwolves as well as their parents and guardians!
The 2009-10 school year is upon us and we are extremely excited to see those smiling faces enter our doors. Our staff has been working vigorously preparing their rooms and lesson plans to make your child's experience at Evergreen Heights positive and fulfilling. Our goal is to make each students education one of "quality learning" . Remember that your positive influence and active participation in your children's schooling is the number one factor in making their education successful. Please ask your children to keep you updated about school, on a daily basis. Celebrating their successes and working out any difficulties or stresses regularly will prevent a negative school experience and bring you closer together with your child and your school. The staff at EH are well prepared to assist your children on the road towards their future in both education and life!
Another "First Day" of School
Every one has a "First Day"
when they feel sad and all alone.
It can be so scary
when you're out on your own.
Take my hankie, dry your tears.
You'll find lots of things to do,
you'll probably make new friends.
I promise we'll be together
when the school day ends.
Here comes the teacher,
blow your nose and be brave. Come on now wipe your eyes,
this is no way to behave.
"Well, good morning teacher.
We really must beg your pardon.
No, MOMMY doesn't always act this way.
But it's my first day of....KINDERGARTEN!"
Sincerely, Mrs. Anne Gayman, Principal
Evergreen Heights Elementary
