Ilalko Elementary to Receive
King County Youth Sport Facility Grant

Ilalko Elementary School has recently been selected by King County Executive Ron Simms and the King County Council to receive a $22,757 King County Youth Sport Facility Grant (YSFG).  The grant was developed by the Ilalko Elementary School PTA’s Playground Committee.  The matching funds of $11,378 required for the grant application were raised by the school community and the PTA by hosting a school-based carnival.  The grant will fund the purchase of new age-appropriate playground equipment to expand the playground use by all students attending Ilalko.  Ryan Foster is the principal of Ilalko Elementary School.
