District Technology Intern Program to be Highlighted on
Puget Sound Educational TV (PSETV)

Beginning Saturday, February 22, the Auburn School District student technology intern program will be highlighted on Puget Sound Educational TV (PSETV) on Channel 26 Thursdays and Saturdays at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Sundays at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. through March.  (In most of Pierce County, the show will air on Thursday at 6 p.m. on Channel 28 beginning Thursday, February 27.)

The Auburn School District technology intern program has nurtured future technology specialists by allowing high school students to study and work in part-time internships in the district’s information technology department.  The high school interns have the opportunity to perform hands-on maintenance and repair of district computers and systems.  They also are afforded the opportunity to work full-time during their summer vacation as technology interns.  Many of the Auburn School District student interns have gone on to careers in technology.

The PSETV programming will highlight Auburn High School senior, Yuri Soldatenkov, during his technology internship experiences.

Several high school students have recently been selected to enter the intern program during the spring semester: Auburn Riverside High School - Jaeden Amero, Auburn High School – Kaitlin Qvale, Clance Hoskin, and Cameron Bushaw.
