Mesopotamian Market Place is a
Hands-on Experience for Sixth Graders

Cascade Middle School sixth grade students will be participating in the school’s ninth annual Mesopotamian market place Friday, February 6, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.  Students will take on the role of a person from the ancient civilization and will experience life in a new way - paying taxes, trading for basic necessities, and dressing as a Mesopotamian citizen.  The event is designed to be an authentic, hands-on experience for students studying ancient cultures.
