Pioneer Elementary School to Host the Seattle Opera
Young Artists Program

On February 13-16, Pioneer fifth graders will be participating in the Seattle Opera Young Artists Program, a four-day artist-in-residency workshop.

The Seattle Opera will be sending six opera singers, a pianist, a music director and a stage manager to produce Richard Wagner’s opera, The Rhinegold. Students will act and sing as well as prepare the set.

The practice and rehearsal during the four-day workshop culminates with a final performance on February 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Pioneer Elementary School.
