Greetings Cascade Families,

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the new principal of Cascade Middle School. For the past four years I have been the assistant principal at Auburn's Mount Baker Middle School and look forward to joining the Cascade Family. My vision is to work together with staff, parents, and students in order to create a "Middle School of Excellence."  This "Middle School of Excellence" will be centered upon the following areas: 1) Academic Excellence, 2)  Professional Excellence, and 3) Organizational Excellence.

As the principal, I value and will be actively seeking your input, comments and suggestions throughout the year. All of us at Cascade recognize the importance of family involvement in our children's education and will make every effort to create opportunities for you to become involved.  Communication is critical to building a strong family. Throughout the year you will receive newsletters including office, PTA and classroom keeping you informed of programs and upcoming activities. Please check with our teachers and staff for volunteer opportunities.
