Congratulations to the October PE Students of the Month: Makaela Kindell (8^th grade), Avery Wade (7^th grade) and Alisha Martinez (6^th grade). All three of these students set the example of excellence in PE from warm-ups to the State Fitness Testing. Thank you all for trying your personal best each day. Look for their PE Bios in the Gym/Cafeteria Hallway!

MULTICULTURAL CLUB

Please join us in Mrs. Gatlin’s room 315 every Wednesday from 2:20-3:05 to learn, share, and explore the different cultures of Cascade.

Cascade Students

Please return your overdue books to the library.  Students, check the date due you stamped on the back of your books, or stop by the library if you have questions.  Seventh and Eighth graders will not be able to attend the November 6th dance if they have overdue books.

ART CLUB

Art Club meets every Monday from 2:30-3:30 in Room 305.

HOMEWORK CLUB

Looking for somewhere to get your homework done? Somewhere that’s quiet, materials are available & you can get the help needed to complete your work!

Come to room #408 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 2:15-3:15 for Cascade’s Homework Club. Everyone is welcome and snacks are provided!!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are calling on all volunteers to help out your fellow community members in this time of need.  There is a section of the levee that cannot be sandbagged by the big trucks, there is no access for them, so we need people power to help protect the city.  The area is at the 8^th ST NE bridge. it will take approximately 12,500 sandbags to fill this section. This operation will be held on November 14^th from 8am-4pm. The city and community really need our help, so please volunteer if you can. The only stipulation is that people helping must be at least 14 years old.
