Advanced Art
Dear Student/Parents:
Your student has elected to participate in Advanced Art this semester. Cascade Advanced Art classes provide a variety of learning activities for students who have already taken art classes and are prepared to furhter thier art education. Students work individually, and as part of a team, on various assignments and/or projects. The class is project oriented, therefore it is important for students to attend and participate in class. If a student misses a class or classes for any reason it is up to the student to be responsible to ask about any papers or work they have missed.
Grades will be based on total points earned. The more points a student earns, the higher their grade. Students will earn points on assignments, tests, quizzes, projects, daily participation and their project folder.
All school rules found in the student handbook will be enforced in addition to the detailed classroom expectations for technology classes. I believe that if students follow these four rules they will be successful:
1. Come to class on time, prepared to work, and participate in the class activities.
2. Do nothing that will harm yourself or others (Think SAFETY, Act Safely).
3. Do nothing that will make it difficult for someone, including yourself, to learn
4. Respect others and all art tools, supplies, and equipment.
