Language Arts

• We are fortunate to be piloting a new literature series by the publisher Harcourt-Brace. The name of the literature series is “Trophies” and the first theme we will be exploring is “Personal Best.”
• Step up to Writing and 6 Trait Writing form the nucleus of the writing program for the class. We will write in many genres.
• Grammar and Spelling will be taught as an extension of writing and not separate from it.
