Social Studies

• Geography- we’ll be finding out about the whole world; how did mapping come about? Where and what are the major continents? How did people first go about finding the shape of the world? What are the many things that make up what we look for as we find maps of the world?
• Early Civilizations- where we are now comes from where we came from. People slowly began to develop ways to live together all over the world- patterns we will study through such groups as the Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Mayans, Aztecs, Chinese and so forth.
