8th Grade Science
Classroom
Procedures and Expectations
Teacher: Mr. Rob Webb
I look forward to
teaching 8th Grade science at Cascade and meeting all students and
their parents. The choices that you make this year will have a great effect on
your success in high school and beyond, and I believe that together we can make
good choices and have a fun and successful final year in middle school. We will
be in a constant state of learning and expectations are high, but you have
demonstrated the ability to do well, so I am confident that you will be
successful in my classroom.
Class Rules:
Our classroom will follow
the Cascade school rules as printed in your planner/calendar. Make sure you
read them.
Attendance: Attendance is mandatory. Tardiness is a
negative. Do not choose to have detentions for being late. Be in the classroom
before the bell rings. We will discuss in class the appropriate response to
tardiness.
Language: We expect proper Standard English to be
used in class, and choosing to respect each other will be a part of our verbal
interaction.
Late Work: Deadlines and due dates are absolute.
Assignments turned in late will carry a 5o% deduction. Do not choose to turn in
late assignments.
