My classroom rules are the same as the school rules and what are expected of you as an eighth grader.  They are listed in the handbook section in your planner.  Please read them and make sure you understand them fully.

Tardiness:

After three tardies you will receive a lunch detention.  Number 4, 5 and 6 will receive an after school detention.  Anything after that will receive a Friday school and a referral to the assistant principal.  If you are extremely late, you will be considered skipping class and receive a Friday school.

Hall Passes:

You will receive 4 hall passes each quarter.  These passes are for use in my class only.  They are to be used for going to the restroom, going to your locker, going to the office, or any other place you may need to go.  If you do not have a hall pass to give me, you will need to major other arrangements.  USE THEM WISELY!

*Exceptions will be made for students with medical issues.

Supplies (these may be in addition to the 8th grade supply list):

Please bring the following items with you to class EVERY day:

Spiral notebook                            School Planner

3-ring binder                                   Red pen

Notebook paper                           Highlighters (4 colors: green, yellow, blue and pink)

Pencil with eraser                          Blue or Black ink pen

*In addition please bring a book to read to class daily for transition times!

**You may also wish to bring colored pencils, crayons, or markers as we will use them often and the ones that I have in class for you to use are old and junky.
