Say the letter name, get your mouth ready ad then say a word that has the letter it in it. Ex. “b” bat
 Notice the kind of lines it has  - straight, curvy, slanted, short, long…
Watch and listen how to make the letter.
Make the letter out of clay, playdough or silly putty.
Trace the letter.
Copy the letter and then try to write it from memory.
Tell someone else how to make it.
Find the letter in magazines, books, menus, and on groceries.
Write where you hear the sound in a word.
Think of words you know with that letter.
Tell how the letter is like and unlike letters.
 Make it with your fingers.
