They will then stamp things that have the same beginning sound as each letter. For example: under the letter F they might stamp a flag. |

They will then stamp things that have the same beginning sound as each letter. For example: under the letter N they might stamp a nose. |

| Second and Third | Students will listen to Hoodwinked by Arthur Howard. This book is a Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award Nominee. Students will listen to the book being read. Using the KidPix program on the computer, stamp their own creepy pets then write why that pet is creepy. |

| Fourth | Students will only have time to check out books this week. | |||
| Fifth | Students will be writing their own Choose Your Own Adventure story using Microsft Word to plan the story and writing it with pictures using Microsoft PowerPoint. This will take several weeks to complete. It is a lesson from SchoolKit.com, a web site that provides lessons for use with Microsoft Office programs. Mr. Spencer has been attending workshops to learn to use it and will be teaching lessons that use the computers for reading, writing, math, and other subject areas. | |||
