Students will stamp the G and H using KidPix. They will then stamp
things that have the same beginning sound as each letter. For example:
under the letter F they might stamp a flag. |

Students will listen to the book being read. Using the Inspiration
program on the computer, students will create a double bubble map
to compare and contrast Widget and the cats from the story..

|
Students will be continuing to write their own Choose Your Own Adventure
story using Microsft Word to plan the story and writing it with pictures
using Microsoft PowerPoint. This will take several weeks to complete.
It is a lesson from SchoolKit.com,
a web site that provides lessons for use with Microsoft Office programs.
Mr. Spencer has been attending workshops to learn to use it and will
be teaching lessons that use the computers for reading, writing, math,
and other subject areas. |
