PRESCHOOL SUPPLIES

Backpack (zipper style)

Spiral Notebook

Supplies to share:

  3 glue sticks

  1 bottle white school glue

  1 boxes of Kleenex

  1 bx. Clorox wipes

  2 boxes of crackers

Choose any two of the following:

  1 box of sandwich size ziplocks

  1 box of gallon size ziplocks

  2 packages of stickers

  5 oz. Dixie Cups

  paper plates

 

 

KINDERGARTEN SUPPLIES

Backpack or book bag (zipper style)

3 folders w/pockets across bottom

1 box of Crayola crayons (24)

* 1 pkg. of 12 - #2 pencils w/erasers

2 boxes of baby wet wipes

2 packages of stickers (optional)

10 FAT glue sticks

2 boxes (24) colored pencils

1 box of Kleenex

1 pair of blunt-tip metal scissors

1 box of snacks

*We may request more materials

FIRST GRADE SUPPLIES

* 12 - #2 pencils w/erasers

2 – 4 oz. Elmer’s Glue (white)

4 Glue Sticks

1 pair of blunt-tip metal scissors

1 large pink eraser

1 box of colored pencils (12)

2 red correcting pencils

2 large containers of baby wipes

1 box of snacks

2 boxes of tissues

STUDENTS IN GRADES 1 – 5 WILL NEED A PENCIL FOR LIBRARY AND TENNIS SHOES FOR P.E.

 

 

STUDENTS IN GRADES K-5 WILL NEED FOR ART:

1 Sharpie – fine point pen

 

 

PLEASE HAVE ALL ITEMS MARKED WITH YOUR STUDENT’S NAME.

Comfort Kits

 

Dear Parents,

 

In the fall, please send a comfort kit with your child to school.  These kits may be used in the event of an earthquake, snow or other natural disasters.

 

The kit should contain “comfort” foods, or items your child likes.

 

The comfort kit should consist of the following items:

                1 juice box or can

                1 snack bar (granola bar, etc.)

                1 dried fruit snack (raisins, etc.)

                1 package of Lifesavers

                1 scratch pad and pen/pencil

                A family photo or personal note from home

 

These items need to be stored in a one-gallon zip-lock bag, labeled with your child’s name.

 

In the event of a major earthquake, it is likely major routes will be impassable.  The Chinook staff is prepared to keep students for up to 72 hours.  The comfort kits will help your child cope during this period.  It is critical that he or she be prepared.
